| Characteristics: | This wood is of a light-yellow colour. In older wood a brown heart often occurs. Perfect stocks are seldom found. The stocks are often crooked and seldom more than 40 cm thick. Various machining methods are possible - staylog peeled, rotary cut and sliced (see below). | |||||||||||||||
