|
A/B front quality
High quality veneer; depending on the wood species 2 - 6 boards match. There is no veneer variation on the A-side; for this reason the veneer sheet widths on the A-side are always the same. Generally 2 boards are made of one veneer package and are therefore identical. The veneer is of high quality and suitable for use on fronts. The colours within one pallet match. The rear sides are of B-quality, whereby these are graded as „good“ B. |
| |
| |
A/B furniture quality
Standard quality in which single boards can occur. Veneer variation can occur on the front. The veneer sheet widths can vary slightly. The veneers are graded for carcass use, whereby front applications are also possible if cut and graded accordingly. Depending on the wood species slight faults can occur such as gum on black cherry, bull wood on beech, mirror on oak. The rear is graded for interior use. |
| |
 |
A-pattern structure
The veneers are generally graded with veneer figuring. Depending on the wood species, up to 10 boards match. The veneer has a high-quality appearance. The veneer sheet widths are the same on one board and generally also on up to 10 boards. |
| |
| |
A-pattern structure from one stock
The veneers are generally graded with the veneer figuring. Depending on the wood species up to 20 boards can be made with veneer from one stock with a continuous structure. The veneers have a high-quality appearance, the veneer sheet widths are the same on one board and generally on up to 10 boards. |
| |
 |
A-pattern structure with the same veneer sheet width
It is possible to specify that the boards are manufactured with the same veneer sheet width to ensure front symmetry. When the required veneer sheet width is determined the natural width of the veneer for each wood species must be taken into account to ensure attractive veneer figuring. For technical reasons is cannot be guaranteed that the veneers are absolutely parallel on the board.– Individual board sizing at the customer's site is necessary. |
| |
| |
A-fancy
Front quality with solely fancy graded veneers. Natural and joined fancy patterns are possible. |
| |
 |
A-small fancy pattern
Front qualities with only fancy graded veneers, generally joined fancy patterns. |
| |
 |
A-plain
Front quality with solely plain graded veneers. The appearance of plain veneers is similar, during grading attention is paid to relative colour similarity. However: Plain veneers have a maximum width of approx. 8-14 cm, depending on the wood species. As a result (generally with 24 veneer sheets/packages, with board widths of 183 cm or 205 cm) only 1 board max. can be produced in front quality from one veneer package. For this reason it is difficut to produce plain boards „with a structure“. This must always be discussed with the customer to prevent subsequent complaints. Upon request we can produce plain structured boards with wide veneers using REAL QUARTER VENEER (of quartered stocks). |
| |
 |
A-stock structure
The processed veneer stock or its A-content are completely processed and pressed. Therefore all veneer figuring is contained ranging from plain to grain, all the boards have the same colour. If for the stock structure an additional criterion is stated such as „the same sheet width“ or „fancy grading“, it is possible to produce only a small number of boards of the required quality from one stock. |
| |
| |
A-veneers sheared
Our veneers are principally turned before joining„“. This means that a „right“ and a „left“ veneer side always alternate. When veneers are sheared, the same veneer side is always „at the top“, which produces an attractive, regular colour during staining. Only plain veneers or veneers with an attractive, natural fancy pattern can be sheared.
|
| |
 |
A-board character
Veneers from at least four different veneer packages are randomly joined (plain, fancy pattern, turned and sheared). A so-called „board character “ structure results which looks similar to glued solid wood.
All listed grades and structures are available either on one or both sides of the veneered board. Alternatively the „back of the board“ is available in the qualities „B“, „C“ and „blind back panels“ |
